Privacy notice

Version 2026-11 · Applies to kalldoctor.com and portal.kalldoctor.com

KallDoctor helps you find clinics, book visits and, where offered, see a doctor by video. Your health information is some of the most personal information there is. This page explains in plain words what we keep, why, who can see it, and what you can do about it. We follow Nepal's Individual Privacy Act, 2075 (2018).

What we collect

Why we use it

Only to run the service you asked for: to book and manage your appointments, let your clinician look after you safely, take payment, send reminders and codes, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see it

AI features

Doctors can use an AI assistant to tidy their notes and to look things up in a patient's own record. For this, the relevant text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) only to produce the answer. A doctor reads and approves anything the AI writes before it is saved to your record. The AI does not make medical decisions.

Video visits

Video visits run through our video provider (Daily). KallDoctor does not record or store the video or audio of your visit.

Home visits and location

Other services that handle data for us

Hosting (Render), email and text messages (for codes and reminders), Google sign-in if you choose it, and payment gateways such as eSewa. These providers' servers may be outside Nepal. They only receive what they need to do their job.

How long we keep it

Your choices

How we protect it

Connections are encrypted. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Staff sign-ins are verified, access is limited by role, patient record access is logged, and backups are encrypted and stored away from the main server. No system is perfect: if something goes wrong that could affect you, we will tell you and the clinics involved without delay.

Children

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should create the account and book on your behalf.
